Regional Hospice is a non-profit, community-based organization committed to providing individualized, compassionate, physical, spiritual and psycho-social care and support to patients and families, enabling death with dignity as a completion of life. How Hospice Works: Hospice services are available to patients who have a terminal illness where the goal of treatment is pain management and symptom control. Services are provided by a team of trained professionals, physicians, nurses, chaplains, social workers, aides, and volunteers who provide medical care and support services. Some medical equipment and medications related to the patients terminal illness may also by supplied.
