Event Description Second Annual Winter Family 9 Hole Golf Open– sponsored by The Waterfront Restaurant on Grindstone Lake will be held on Saturday, March 10th from 1-5.  All proceeds from the benefit go to The Salvation Army’s Elizabeth Home of Hope Shelters.  The cost is $20.00 for golfers (tournament and hole prizes), and $15.00 for non-golfers.  The cost includes unlimited delicious home made pizza, snacks, dessert, and door prizes.  Ongoing games, prizes and fun for all ages will fill the afternoon. A Meat Raffle will be held from 4-5pm for chances to win hundreds of dollars in meat.  Please join us for the fun to help the homeless in our community.  Please call Geri at 699- 3550, The Waterfront at 634- 3515 or The Salvation Army Family Store at 634-1050 to RSVP your tee time or let us know if you will join in the fun to help your neighbor in need!   (The 9 hole golf course is set up on the ice of beautiful Grindstone Lake, tennis balls and golf clubs are provided, which the ball is hit into a hole drilled out in the ice.  Recommended are good traction boots and warm clothes, no carts are provided, all participants will walk a short distance less than 1500 total yards for the 9 holes.)
