One of nature's remarkable spectacles can be witnessed each fall in Duluth, MN. Migrating raptors, originating from summer breeding areas as far north as the Arctic and with wintering destinations as far south as points in South America, concentrate in impressive numbers at the western tip of Lake Superior. Join the Cable Natural History Museum as we travel to the Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory to watch one of the greatest migrations of birds of prey in North America. Meet at the Museum 9 a.m. and return around 4 p.m. Space is limited. Register by October 16 by calling 715-798-3890. Cost is $10 member/$15 non-member.
