Forest Lab Intermediate Program: Hot Potato!

Event Description
Who loves French fries? Potatoes have been a staple of our diets for hundreds of years. Come learn about their history, unique biology, how to grow them, and how to dig them! Matt Cogger of UWEX will tell all. Then bake some fresh potatoes in a bonfire and add your favorite toppings. Young adults ages 12-18 can meet at the Cable Community Farm at 1:00 p.m. and return by 3:00 p.m. Space is limited. Register by August 23 by calling the Cable Natural History Museum 715-798-3890.
