Are you looking for a fun activity to do with the family before the big “Birkie” race? The Cable Natural History Museum has partnered with the American Birkebeiner Foundation for a one mile leisurely snowshoe hike in the peaceful winter woods. Learn about winter wildlife and tracking and experience the Northwoods on snowshoes. Meet at the Museum at 10:00 a.m. and return by noon. A limited number of adult and children’s snowshoes are available for use from the Museum for $2/child pair and $4/adult pair. The program will not occur if the temperature is below 5° F. Donations accepted. Call the Museum at (715)798-3890 to reserved your snowshoes.
